Hi, I’m Amanda, a 42 year old travel enthusiast living in the UK. I’m always planning my next trip, whether it’s exploring a new city, relaxing by the sea, or getting close to nature and wildlife. As a redhead with a love for travel, I named this blog Roaming with a Redhead. It’s a lighthearted name that reflects how I travel – always curious, often a little sunburnt, and occasionally struggling to find a decent vegan meal. Whether I’m exploring a bustling city, relaxing on beautiful beaches, or discovering vibrant cultures, I’m always on the lookout for new experiences.

My love for travel has taken me to some incredible places like South Africa, Bali, Madeira, Malaga, Victoria Falls, and Namibia. I wanted to create this blog as a space to share my stories, tips, and all the little moments that make travel so special.
